A Major
The following exercises are now arranged by key, starting with C Major (no sharps/flats) and moving progressively through the cycle of 5ths - G Major (one sharp), D Major (two sharps) and so on.

Each scale is accompanied with an exercise that segments and sequences it, meaning that a small fragment of the scale is used and then repeated higher and lower in a pattern. This exercise is most relevant as you’re practicing scale fragments! Brackets indicate the boundaries of each fragment, helping you to segment the exercise.
